Application

Mobile air dehumidifiers Dantherm CDT are designed as as a mobile draining tool. They are ideal for use on construction sites, warehouses, basements and industrial premises, churches, museums, etc., where dehumidification helps prevent damage caused by dampness.

The Dantherm CDT mobile dehumidifier is also designed for use in the management of floods, emergency leaks and other situations associated with spills of large quantities of water.

Convenient in transportation

Adjustable in height, the upper transport handle allows one person to smoothly roll the dehumidifier over a smooth floor and uneven surfaces, and if necessary, lifting it with two people - the second person can take up a small lower handle. A special footboard simplifies the tilt of the dehumidifier for easy transport and protects the operator's legs from the accidental shocks. Large polyurethane wheels are selected so that one person can independently raise or lower the dehumidifier on the stairs. CDT is easy to carry even on a dirt road. Due to the use of modern materials, the developers have reduced the weight of the dehumidifier, while maintaining the strength and reliability of the design.

Easy to operate and maintain

To facilitate the maintenance of the dehumidifier, the control and display panels are removed from the back side upward. Now it's easier to consider the current mode of operation and, if necessary, make changes. Internal elements that require periodic maintenance are located in front - just behind the front panel. To speed up the cleaning process of the internal elements, the way of fixing the front panel has been changed, now it is removed without using a special tool. Below there is a water collector with 3 handles - one in front and two on each side - for easy drainage. It is possible to connect to a drainage system in all models.

Thought over to the smallest detail

Large wheels are recessed inside the structure to provide maximum maneuverability of the dehumidifier when passing through narrow doorways. The polyurethane rim of the wheels leaves no traces, ensures a noiseless and smooth movement on the floor. To protect the walls and especially the corners during transportation, a polyurethane coating is also applied to the front buffer of the dehumidifier. The developers have even thought about the convenience of storing the units for those who are engaged in renting equipment. Dehumidifiers can be stacked on top of each other, and the transport handle of the lower CDT unit serves as a reliable lock for the top.

Principle of operation

CDT mobile dehumidifiers from Dantherm remove excess moisture from the air through the operation of the refrigeration circuit in their composition (condensation drying). A powerful axial fan creates an air flow through the evaporator, causing the air temperature to drop below the dew point, the water vapor contained therein condenses and is diverted to a special container or drained. The cooled air then passes through the condenser, where it is re-heated, and then enters the room served. The dehumidifier has built-in anti-frost protection of the evaporator at low temperatures.

Models CDT 30 S and CDT 40 S have a built-in heating element with a power of 1 kW, which provides an additional increase in the temperature of the treated air. The latter is of great importance in the case of the need for accelerated dehumidification, as well as in the operating conditions of the unit with a low initial air temperature in the room. In front part of these dehumidifiers there are two seats, to which flexible hoses with a diameter of 100 mm can be connected, intended for dispensing heated and drained air (the maximum length of each of the hoses is 5 m).

• Located behind the front panel of the dehumidifier and is easily removed for cleaning

Control system

The following functional states are displayed via the control panel display:

1. ON / OFF.
2. The timer of the operating hours of the dehumidifier.
3. Power supply to the dehumidifier (green indicator).
4. Overflow of the water collector (yellow indicator) is absent in the CDT 90.
5. Malfunction of dehumidifier (red indicator).

If it is necessary to maintain the specified humidity level, an optional room hygrostat can be connected to the unit.
